Ahhh, the Foo Fighters debut album.

If you can find a better 2-minute Bubble Gum Rock knockoff of a European Mentos commercial, then come at me, bro.

I had forgotten this video existed until just now.

Did you know Dave Grohl did that entire album himself? He played each one of the instruments and then they were all put together during editing. When it turned out to be successful he actually had to assemble a band so he could tour, and the Foo Fighters as we know them were born.

Several of the songs on the album were originally written for Nirvana but weren’t recorded, for obvious reasons.

Yep, I’m very aware! I even remember when he tapped a couple of the guys from Sunny Day Real Estate to play with him live (I also listened to them in the 90s, they were on the Sub Pop label, too).
